Aggravating riot charges facing jailed combatants

(Lakewood) - Twenty-three people remained jailed in Lakewood following their arrests Saturday night when a huge brawl between two groups of people broke out at the Foundry Concert Club on Detroit Road.  

Five people were injured in the melee which saw gunshots fired and other participants using knives and machetes.

Lakewood Police Chief Tim Malley says those under arrest will all likely be charged with aggravated riot, a fourth degree felony.  Chief Malley says additional arrests and charges are possible in the case.
