Lima native Phyllis Diller passed away quietly in her sleep at the age of 95. Much differently than the way she lived her life. Professional life anyway. Loud, bawdy, and hysterical. Could deliver a joke like nobody's business, and opened that truth-telling, non-girly style of comedy for people like Rosanne Barr, Rosie O'Donnell, Joan Rivers, and others who followed. Phyllis, you, that hair, that laugh, that sense of style, will all be missed.
