Tornado Timelapse
To get a real sense of what the people of Moore, Oklahoma went through at the time for 45 horrifying minutes, watch this time-lapse video of the Tornado there that lasts about a minute and a half. If only the recovery that is now ahead only took that long.

Captain America 2 Begins Shooting In Cleveland Yesterday
Check out a portion of the action that went on in Downtown Cleveland during the first day of the upcoming captain America movie.
I had the pleasure of meeting this thoughtful, well spoken, amazing member of the Doors, Ray Manzarek about 6 or 7 years ago. I interviewed him and Robby Krieger, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, and grew to admire Ray even more.
I'm very sad that he's gone now at age 74 after fighting cancer the last year or so.
Here's a great example of Ray's genius as he gives a brief history of how The Doors, and the song "Light My Fire" came together. While doing that, you'll hear how great a keyboard player he is. (Despite the fact that he says that he wasn't a great musician at the beginning.)
Great singer/songwriter Alan O'Day who had a huge hit on his own with "Undercover Angel" passed away the other day at age 72. He also wrote "Rock & Roll Heaven" for the Righteous Brothers. Here he is doing a medley of both a few years back.
The other big hit Alan wrote was for Helen Reddy "Angie Baby." He helps her through it during this performance from about a year ago.
This weekend a serious BBC talk show was inexplicably interrupted by some random spiritual yodeling…. THAT doesn't happen everyday.
Read why it happened. [News Story Here]

So if you could, how WOULD you make a Captain America shield. From the new Awe Me Channel series Man At Arms come master swordsmith and propmaster, Tony Swatton, who creates iconic weaponry from Hollywood. His process is very intoxicating, that’s why his series has caught on. This one is a request from his fans… to make a very real and functioning Captain America’s shield.

How were they able to pull it off? Suzanne Pleshette ("Emily" from the first "Bob Newhart Show") on the final episode of "Newhart." Very clever how they did it.
This gets the Action Award for cheesiest TV commercial of the year so far. Good luck getting "SHIFT IT" out of your head after watching this local Burbank, CA spot.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once one of the most respected players in baseball until a steroid scandal hit, Manny Ramierez is now playing his ball in Taiwan these days.
Check out the video of Manny sliding into second base about 10 minutes to earlier than he should have (yes it’s THAT bad.) You can hear the Taiwanese announcers having a lot of fun with it.
